Our Academy

Gana means "music", and badi means "school" in Telugu. We wish to make a school for music and simply named it Ganabadi in Telugu. It may have a simple meaning, but very few "schools" uphold its meaning. To uphold some basic necessities schools should uphold, we created Ganabadi. We often notice that many Carnatic textbooks and lessons are taught with inconcise and flawed lessons. To give students a better understanding of Carnatic music, we put together four units, with concise, flawless lessons. Our lessons fit all learning types, may it be visual, auditory, or kinesthetic, Ganabadi has it for you. Ganabadi is there as a resource to provide you with the best information possible, and to help you complete a successful journey through Carnatic Music.

Our Goal

Our goal is to provide people of all backgrounds with concise top-quality lessons. This academy is open to all, wealthy or not. One's financial, social, or religious status should not obscure their knowledge potential. Even the King of the Rakshasas, Ravana, said that education is meant to be shared, which we must do if we want to call ourselves humans. This is why we have created a free program, which welcomes people of all social classes, races, ethnicities, etc. From our perspective, education should never be sold but should be taught. In other words, the necessities we feel must be upheld are as follows: (1) arts should be taught for free, (2) arts should reach every corner of the earth, and (3) arts should be taught properly.
